Itinerary

Day 01: Haridwar-Rishikesh-Gauptkashi/Sitapur: (215 kms, 7 hrs drive): Drive to Guptkashi along with river ganga till Deoprayag. Then along Alakhnanda up to Rudraprayag then Along Mandakani till Guptkashi. Arrive and transfer to camp/Hotel. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 02: Guptkashi/Sitapur-Gaurikund-Bhimbali-lencholi-Kedarnath (10 kms by road,16 kms by trek oneway): 

If you want to cover Kedarnath ji by trek:

After breakfast, we proceed to Sonprayag. Take sharing jeeps up to Gaurikund and begin our 16 km trek to Kedarnath, the trek passes through Bheembali, Rambara, Lingcholi. Arrive at Kedarnath Ji and transfer to the hotel.  Only budgets hotels are available in  Kedarnath, hotels have neat and clean rooms with attached toilets and bath. They also serve hot water buckets. After settling in proceed for the darshan at Kedarnath Ji. After darshan at Kedarnath overnight stay at Kedarnath.   .

If you want to cover Kedarnath ji by Helicopter:

After breakfast drive to Helipad according to the reporting time given by Heli company. Fly to Kedarnath by helicopter, the duration of flight is approximately 12 min. Helipad at Kedarnath is located just 500 m from the temple, proceed to hotel and  check-in. After freshen up darshan at the temple, perform pooja and attend evening aarti. Stay overnight in Kedarnath.

Important places to visit: Gauri Mata Temple in Gaurikund, Kedarnath Temple, Evening aarti, Bharav Baba

Day 03 : Kedarnath-Sitapur/Guptkashi : 

If returning journey by trek

Trace your steps back and return to Sonprayag. This will take approximately 7-8 hour to reach the hotel. Stay overnight in hotel.

If returning journey by Helicopter:

Report at the helipad according, the reporting time generally around at 7.00 am or early. Fly back to Guptkashi/Phata helipad. The weather at Kedarnath is always uncertain, helicopter will fly if there is clear visibility in the valley. No one can predict the returning time. The car will be waiting at the helipad, board the car and proceed to hotel. If time permits then you can visit local temples in and around Guptkashi. Stay overnight in Guptkashi.

Day 04: Guptkashi/Sitapur-  (220 kms / 8 hrs): After breakfast, we proceed to Rishikesh/Haridwar.Transfer to Haridwar railway station/Dehradun airport
